Jimmy The Moonlight (Jim Guynan)

As a guitarist, singer/songwriter, DJ and producer Jim Guynan has worked with many established artists including;

Jerry Lee Lewis, The Blockheads, The Zombies, The Yardbirds, The Real Thing, Little Mix, Katrina and The Waves, From The Jam, Tenpole Tudor, Ocean Colour Scene, Geno Washington, Rudimental, Peter Tork, Glen Matlock, Marc Almond, Nine Below Zero, The Barracudas, Suggs and the mighty Chas and Dave.

As a DJ, playing both vinyl and digital formats, Jim has appeared at many prestigious venues and events including the BFI for the blu ray launch of A Hard Days Night. Hammersmith Odeon (Apollo), The 100 Club (4 year residency), The Social ( Where The Action Is with Gary Crowley), Koko, The Kentish Town Forum and even at the top of Tower Bridge.

As a member of ten piece mod outfit Smashing Time he released several records on the Acid Jazz and Well Suspect labels.

He later went on to form The Crackles, a funk and psychedelic outfit , who also released material on Acid Jazz.

Lately, Jim has been appearing as JTM with solo acoustic guitar and plundering classic songs and lesser known gems from the 60s and early 70s. Expect to hear tracks by the likes of Slade, Leo Sayer, The Faces, Ketty Lester, The Kinks, Charlie Rich and Lee Dorsey alongside his own compositions.

Jim is an accomplished radio producer and presenter. His detailed interview based programmes have featured such artists as Bruce Welch, Chas Hodges, J Vincent Edwards, The Barracudas, Ed Tudor Pole and The Spencer Davis group.
