10th Anniversary Pictures/Video

Barnes Rock’s 10th Anniversary Party was held at London Welsh Rugby Club, 187 Kew Road, Richmond on Friday 20th October 2017. Barnes Rock was formed in September 2007. Our ever present regular band The 60s Allstars gave us a great evening and we were delighted that Alan Warner, founder member of The Foundations who occasionally plays with the 60s Allstars, was also with us on the night in addition to John Dee, Alan Lovell, Del Mandel and Mick Avory. Our support act was D’Artagnan (www.dartagnanmusic.com) AND during the evening The 60s Allstars were interviewed by legendary sixties disc jockey, Pete Murray OBE. See Pete interviewing Mick Avory in the picture below and the interviews of all the band members in the U-tube link. There is also a picture of Gordon Swire (left) and Luke Papa (right), regular supporters of Barnes Rock events, with Pete Murray. Gordon and Luke compete against each other at bowls for the Pete Murray Cup at Barnes Bowls Club!

A charity raffle in aid of The David Adams Leukaemia Appeal Fund (The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity) raised £225 and we are very grateful to all those who contributed.
